Anti-Coagulation Clinic

The South County Hospital Anti-coagulation Management Service is the only pharmacist-directed clinic in southern Rhode Island dedicated to the assessment, monitoring and education of individuals taking anti-coagulation medications such as Coumadin® (warfarin), a commonly prescribed blood thinner.

Diagnostic Imaging (X-ray, Ultrasound, 3-D Mammography)

With a highly-trained staff of board-certified radiologists, technologists and sonographers, the Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Center is committed to providing you with compassionate, personalized care. Our Center has the latest in diagnostic imaging equipment, giving us the best possible results with the lowest dose available.

Imaging services available in East Greenwich and Westerly include X-ray, ultrasound, and the latest in 3-D mammography.  Bone densitometry is also offered at the East Greenwich location.

Nutrition Services

South County Hospital's Nutrition Counseling Services support your diet and nutrition goals. Our registered dietitians can help you meet healthy weight loss and weight management goals, as well as assist those dealing with challenging health issues due to Crohn's disease, dysphagia, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, hyperlipidemia, obesity, reactive hypoglycemia, diabetes and other conditions.

Podiatry

South County Hospital’s board-certified podiatrists (Shoreline Podiatry) treat all aspects of the foot and ankle, including wound care, limb salvation, medical and surgical treatments, and biomechanics.  Foot problems are one of the most common complaints—and can lead to other health problems, such as lower back pain. Urgent/Walk-In Care

Who needs urgent/walk-in care? What's the difference between ER care and Urgent care?

Urgent/Walk-in Care is for those occasions when you want to see a doctor right away, yet don't need emergency room level care.  The staff at South County Health's Urgent/Walk-in Care clinics, located in the East Greenwich and Westerly, can treat needs such as: deep lacerations, sinus infections, sprains, sports injuries, minor accidents, Strep throat, and other conditions requiring attention. If your condition is serious and/or could be life-threatening and requires immediate attention, please visit an Emergency Room. Travel Immunization Clinic (E. Greenwich only)

Planning a vacation?
Our state Department of Health-certified Travel Immunization Clinic is your source for international immunizations and worldwide health information. Make us part of your domestic or international travel plans.  

We are your resource in Southern Rhode Island for current worldwide health information as well as a provider of the full range of vaccinations necessary for the domestic and international traveler. Our clinical staff administers common vaccinations and prophylaxes (preventive measures), including Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Meningitis, Anti-malaria, Yellow Fever, Rabies and Typhoid, and others. 

We also offer booster doses of common immunizations, such as polio (inactivated), Td (tetanus and diphtheria), Tdap, and MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), among others.
