Ways of Giving

  • The Rose Nulman Memorial Park
    Scenic Point Judith, RI is home to this Memorial Park, which was established by Saul Nulman in 1991 in memory of his wife Rose. Bordered by the Point Judith Lighthouse, Coast Guard Station and the Atlantic Ocean, this park is both tranquil and vibrant. Your loved one's name is etched onto a 1-by-3 inch memorial plaque. Proceeds benefit South County Home Health.   • Annual Appeal
    In December of each year, South County Home Health (SCHH) reaches out to the community with an annual appeal. A letter may be sent to your home asking you to consider a donation to SCHH.  SCHH welcomes and appreciates donations all year in the spirit of the annual appeal. Your donation can be mailed to:

  • Donations for Home Health Equipment
    Proper medical equipment is essential to home health care. You or a loved one may have benefited from home medical equipment provided by South County Home Health and may wish to help others receive this same high quality equipment and care.
    • Telemedicine
      One telemedicine unit can help 12 patients yearly as they recover from a cardiac, pulmonary or establishing control of diabetes . Cost: to lease a telemedicine unit yearly is $960 or $80 monthly.
    • Lifeline Personal Emergency Response Unit 
      This device can save a life. South County Home Health provides these devices free of charge for residents in our community 100 years old and up. Cost: $456 will provide a Lifeline unit for one year or $38 for one month.
    • Vital Stim
      An electrical modality designed to improve swallowing when throat muscles are implicated as problematic. This treatment, when utilized by a certified Speech Language Pathologist, is effective in improving safe swallowing. Cost: a Vital Stim unit can be purchased for $1800 dollars, a set of 12 electrodes for $200.
    • Clinician Bags
      Each time a clinician makes a home visit, they bring their daily equipment with them, including blood pressure cuffs, measuring tapes, dressing supplies, stethoscopes and personal protective equipment. All of this is carried in a vinyl bag. Cost: $80 for one bag
