About Marlynn Wei, MD, JD
Marlynn Wei, MD, JD is a Harvard and Yale-trained psychiatrist, psychotherapist, certified yoga teacher, and author. Dr. Wei is coauthor of the Harvard Medical School Guide to Yoga, a comprehensive guide that gets to the true healing heart of yoga and the research that supports its benefits. She is a contributing editor to Harvard Health and a featured contributor for Psychology Today and the Huffington Post. As an expert in mindfulness, stress management, yoga, positive psychology, and nutritional psychiatry, Dr. Wei provides simple, everyday tools to reduce stress and improve work-life balance through her holistic approach. She has been featured on Real Simple, Z Living network, Doctor Radio, SELF Magazine, Prevention, Men's Health, Cosmopolitan, Vice, Mic.com, and several other media outlets.
Dr. Wei is a graduate of the Yale School of Medicine, Yale Law School, and Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital/ McLean Hospital psychiatry program in Boston. She is the recipient of the Anne Alonso Award for Psychotherapy from Massachusetts General Hospital and a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
