Cleaning Practices

Among the steps we have taken to ensure cleanliness:

• Extra sanitizing practices and terminal cleaning in our operating rooms and elsewhere to ensure the safest environment of care. This includes ultraviolet cleaning (UVC technology) in our operating rooms and isolation patient rooms, installation of the dry H2O2 system which provides continuous microbial reduction in occupied spaces, and utilization of CDC-approved germicide in common areas and patient rooms.
• Infection Prevention experts consulting with our staff.
• Increased disinfection of public areas.
• Extensive training and new tools to maintain a safe physical environment have been provided to Environmental Services team members and other staff.
