South County Hospital gave me back my mobility

As a retired health care professional, I know what constitutes an excellent hospital. When I had a total knee replacement at South County Hospital, I saw one in action. I was treated with respect, genuine concern, and professionalism in a truly impressive environment. All staff with whom I interacted – from admitting to dietary to pharmacy to case management to housekeeping, and of course my exceptional direct caregivers – were uniformly focused on creating that environment. They are aware of what patients see, hear, and feel at all times. From the quiet of the corridors to the comfort of the beds, and most of all the caring and excellence of the staff, I cannot say enough about this wonderful hospital. Thank you.
