Gaspare brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, most recently serving as President of Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. In that role, he led a similarly sized independent hospital system, overseeing a 100-bed facility, its outpatient network, and a 160-member medical group. He previously served as President of SSM St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, Missouri, and as SSM Health’s Service Line Executive for Oncology in the St. Louis market. Earlier in his career, Gaspare led two hospital-based medical groups in Southern Illinois and directed managed care negotiations across multiple SSM Health markets.

His deep experience in medical group operations and hospital leadership will support rapid improvement in key strategic areas. Gaspare holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and an MBA from William Woods University. He is active in community leadership and lives with his wife, Melissa, and their three children—Vito, Vinnie, and Nic.
