Patient Identification Number (PIN)
At South County Hospital, we value the privacy of patient health information. To ensure confidentiality, we assign a four digital Personal Identification Number (PIN) upon a patient’s admission to the hospital.
If patients would like a friend or family member to receive information about his/her medical condition, please share this PIN with them. We encourage designating one family member or friend who can receive regular updates and share with other friends and family members.
Friends or family members who would like updates about your condition may call the main hospital line at (401) 782-8000 and share the correct PIN to get status updates about your health.
Ways to Give and Share Feedback
Every year, thousands of patients pass through our doors with stories of struggle, strength, hope, and perseverance. Many will form special and lasting bonds with their doctors, nurses, social workers, and other staff.
We understand that gratitude comes in all forms, at South County Health we invite patients, visitors, and staff to say ‘Thank You’ for the care received at South County Health through our Expressions of Gratitude program.
Take a moment to share your story through a simple thank you note, a caregiver nomination, or a philanthropic gift.
South County Health welcomes offers snacks to our room guests and welcomes community members to our cafeteria and Healing Grounds Cafe in the main lobby.
