South County Health has partnered with AblePay to help patients manage out-of-pocket medical expenses, saving our community members money and time.

As an AblePay member, patients have flexible payment options on every South County Health bill and the full support of AblePay's billing experts if there are any questions.

The program is NO-COST, does not impact credit, and works with any primary health insurance, including Medicare. Family members can also be included on an individual’s AblePay account. It can also be used by those who have no health insurance and are considered “self-pay.”

WITH ABLEPAY, YOU CAN:

HOW DOES ABLEPAY WORK?

Step 1: Enroll at ablepayhealth.com/southcountyweb/

Step 2: Show your AblePay Card

Receive your AblePay card in the mail and show it with your primary insurance at your next medical visit.

Note: Patients who enroll before a medical visit or during the check-in process can still enjoy the benefits of AblePay even if they have not yet received their physical card in the mail. They should let their provider know they are an AblePay member and present their AblePay card at future visits once it arrives.

Step 3: Billing Processing

The charge will be processed by your primary health insurance first. You will still receive your Explanation of Benefits. The portion you are responsible for paying will be sent to AblePay.

Step 4: Finalize Payment

When your bill is ready, AblePay will notify you via email and text to visit your AblePay member portal, giving you 5 days to choose from a selection of payment options.
