Cancer Center Welcomes New Providers
Cancer Center Welcomes Dr. Gerald Colvin as Medical Director, Expands Team of Permanent Medical Oncology Providers
The South County Health Nursing Residency Program (NRP) ensures that our newest nurses are supported every step of the way, building a strong foundation for their careers.
The South County Health NRP is a full-year program to support all newly graduated RNs at SCH during their first year of practice, as they transition from student to professional nurse. The group meets monthly in 4-hour sessions that include time to debrief on their experiences, learn or enhance new skills, discuss professionalism topics that are current in their practice, and meet interdisciplinary experts from across the organization.
Linda Cavanaugh, RN, of South County Health's Nursing Professional Development Team (pictured above with Kayla) reflected on Kayla's journey, saying, " It has been my pleasure to watch Kayla grow this year in her role as a Labor & Delivery nurse."
Please join us in celebrating Kayla's achievements as the most recent graduate of the Nursing Residency Program.
