
In celebration of America's 250th and with a deep acknowledgement of the healing power of music, South County Health and the Kingston Chamber Music Festival present a special concert in the South County Hospital Main Lobby.
Thursday, July 23 at 9:30 a.m. The Terra String Quartet will play selections from the following works:
- Jessie Montgomery “Strum” for String Quartet
- Dvorak String Quartet No.12 “American Quartet”
- Henry Purcell Chaconne in G Minor Arr. by Benjamin Britten
- Benjamin Britten String Quartet No.2 in C Major, Op.36
This 45-minute event will be a preview performance of what's to come at the Kingston Chamber Music Festival the following evening at URI's Fine Arts Center.
