At South County Hospital (SCH), the helping hand the surgeon turns to in the operating room (OR) is often metal. It belongs to Mako, an advanced robotic-arm assisted technology.
Hundreds of submissions are received each year, and among those the top 29 photographers whose work best represents South County (in addition to other criteria) are selected as winners.
