Public discussion on community health needs

Published 03/20/2019

South County Hospital, Westerly Hospital, and our community health partners invite the public to join us for an open discussion on the health needs of Washington County. This forum, which is free and open to the public, takes place on Tuesday, March 26, 6-8 pm in the 7th and 8th grade cafeteria at Chariho Middle School, 455B Switch Road in Wood River Junction.

South County Hospital and other hospitals in the state regularly undergo a comprehensive study of unmet health needs in the communities we serve. This study -- known as a community health needs assessment (CHNA) -- is updated every three years to ensure our strategic plans and programs are responding to changing needs and demographics in our community.

Learn more about results from most the recent CHNA and local initiatives that are addressing behavioral health needs, senior health, chronic disease, and other topics. Your input will help us as we move forward with addressing the health needs of our community.
