Wound Care Center moves to Medical Office Building

Published 02/26/2019

On the afternoon of Monday, March 4, 2019, patients who visit the South County Health Wound Care Center will be welcomed at its new location, Suite 212 in the Medical Office Building (MOB) at South County Hospital.

The new Wound Care Center is conveniently located on the second floor of the MOB near the elevator, allowing ease of access for patients, including those whose mobility is limited. Inside, the Center was designed to give patients more room to navigate throughout the office, improving the experience in both accommodation and comfort. The renovations were specifically designed with bariatric patients in mind.

The Wound Care Center located on the Ground Floor of South County Hospital will be closed on Friday, March 1 to allow for the transition to the new location.

The move is part of ongoing renovations of the Hospital and continued improvements to patient care.

The South County Health Wound Care Center offers state-of-the-art therapies and the most advanced treatments available for non-healing wounds caused by diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, venous disease, pressure ulcers, lymphedema, burns, chronic inflammation, and other conditions.

Our team of highly trained and experienced professionals achieve superior healing outcomes -- even with wounds resistant to traditional treatments. The Wound Care Center has received the Center of Distinction Award from Healogics, Inc. every year since 2010.
