South County Health Celebrates March Volunteer of the Month: Anne Savoie
South County Health is proud to recognize Anne Savoie as our March Volunteer of the Month. Anne serves in the Surgical Services Department and was nominated by the Endoscopy team for the extraordinary care and dedication she brings to her role every day.
Colleagues describe Anne as helpful, kind, and a true self-starter—someone who consistently goes above and beyond. Highly competent and always anticipating the needs of both staff and patients, she has earned a special nickname among the team: “our house mom.” One staff member even joked, “I want to invite her to Christmas dinner.”
The Pre-Op team shared the same enthusiasm, with one team member simply saying, “I LOVE HER!” Staff praised Anne for her initiative and reliability, noting that she accomplishes so much without ever needing direction—she simply sees what needs to be done and does it.
In Ambulatory Care, Anne is known for being prompt, conscientious, and especially skilled at connecting patients with their families. Team members appreciate her strong collaboration with nurses and her ability to help navigate challenging situations with calm, compassion, and professionalism.
As the Director of Surgical Services shared, Anne is incredibly sweet, always puts South County Health first, and is willing to step in wherever she is needed.
Simply put, the entire Surgical Services Department feels incredibly fortunate to have Anne on their team. It is our honor to recognize Anne Savoie as South County Health’s March Volunteer of the Month.
