New Chief Financial Officer: Sef Ghanem Joins South County Health Leadership Team
South County Health is pleased to welcome Sef Ghanem as our new Vice President & Chief Financial Officer — a well‑respected finance leader whose extensive background will strengthen our commitment to fiscal transparency, strategic growth, and financial stewardship.
With a proven track record in complex financial analysis, budgeting, and business‑development initiatives, Sef brings deep expertise to our organization. His experience positions him to support SCH’s ongoing mission: delivering high-quality, patient-centered care throughout Washington County and beyond.
Sef’s appointment reflects our commitment to strong financial leadership at a time when health care continues to evolve rapidly,” said CEO Aaron Robinson. “His strategic insight will help South County Health navigate current economic challenges while continuing to expand services and access for our community.”
Sef brings more than two decades of experience leading finance and operational strategy across some of New England’s most respected health systems. He joins us from Boston Medical Center Health System, where he served as Vice President of Finance, overseeing corporate and hospital finance, provider organization finance, system capital planning, revenue cycle, and business intelligence for a system exceeding $3 billion in annual revenues. His leadership helped drive significant growth, transparency, and efficiency across multiple business units, including pharmacy, capital management, and financial reporting.
Prior to his tenure at BMC Health System, Sef served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for Mass General Brigham Integrated Care & Urgent Care, where he helped design and launch new ambulatory and virtual care delivery models while securing more than $300 million in funding to support strategic expansion. His earlier leadership roles at Charles River Laboratories, Steward Health Care System, and Mass. Eye and Ear have equipped him with deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, system integration, and performance transformation.
In his role, Sef will oversee financial planning, capital allocation, and long‑term fiscal strategy — ensuring that South County Health remains sustainable, resilient, and able to invest in innovative care offerings.
