As South County Health continues to build philanthropic support to help sustain its mission of being the most trusted health partner, Christine Foisy has accepted the position of South County Health’s Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Christine joined South County Health’s Fund Development team in October 2016, served as Principal Gift Officer and as Interim Vice President of Development.
She played a support role in the successful campaign that led to the renovation of the Cancer Center and provided leadership in cultivating donor support, engagement, and commitment over the course of her career, resulting in innovative fundraising strategies that proved successful during challenging years.
Her commitment to the South County community and to South County Health has been demonstrated by her unwavering loyalty to the organization and its mission, earning the respect and confidence of the Development staff, her colleagues on the Executive Leadership team, and members of the community.
Prior to joining South County Health, Christine served as the Chief Operating Officer for the House of Hope, CDC in Warwick, Rhode Island. In addition, she founded CMF Development Consulting, a private consultancy where she managed a wide range of projects including Capital Campaign planning and execution and implementation of best practices in fundraising operations. She has worked with a number of non-profit clients in New England, including a large healthcare system in the Boston market.
In this role, Christine will work closely with executives and Board members, and remain actively engaged in supporting South County Health’s philanthropy program to better serve the healthcare needs of the community.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Christine’s overall responsibilities include meeting the Development program objectives and fundraising goals; serve as the Executive Director of the newly established Foundation; and participate in the recruitment of Foundation Board members.
As the Foundation’s Executive Director, Christine will assume the responsibility of building a contemporary philanthropy program with the Foundation Board and secure funds to support South County Health’s capital improvement plans.
Christine received a Bachelor’s degree from Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL, and holds bCRE-Pro accreditation.
