Homegrown and Here to Stay
Tell us a little about your personal life.
"I am from Cranston, Rhode Island, and my family and friends have been the backbone of my journey. Their support has been crucial to my growth both personally and professionally. Rhode Island is home, and I don’t plan to leave. I went to Cranston West High School playing volleyball, basketball and lacrosse. I attended Rhode Island College for my nursing degree and continued to play lacrosse as a goalie throughout my time there. After graduation I started my nursing career at Rhode Island Hospital in the cardiac ICU. I then transitioned to a role in the Cardiac Cath Lab pursuing travel nursing to Florida. During my travels I realized how important family and community is instilling further there is nowhere else like Rhode Island."
