South County Health Primary Care Narragansett now Open!

Published 08/16/2021

Primary Care providers - Drs. Mark Zullo, Heather Mackey-Fowler, Gloria Sun, Brian Cilley, and Amanda DeSenna, NP formerly at South County Primary Care Wakefield– are now seeing patients at their new location in Narragansett.

New Narragansett Office

As South County Health makes progress on its expansive construction inside South County Hospital and the adjacent Medical Office Building, its primary care practice moved into its new 5,000 sq. ft. spacious office at 14 Woodruff Avenue, Suite 1, Narragansett at Woodruff Plaza.

On Monday, August 9, the Wakefield practice officially changed its name from South County Primary Care Wakefield, to South County Health Primary Care Narragansett, reflecting its new location.

“We are excited to welcome our patients to this new location,” said Dr. Mark Zullo, Chief of Family Medicine.

Dr. Zullo has been with South County Health since 2014 and values the relationships that he and the other providers in the Primary Care practice have built with their patients. This relocation, he said, will make it easier for patients to get to their appointments, have a comfortable, new space where they come to get their health and wellness check-ups, and there is plenty of parking right outside the door.

Service Line Expansion and Innovative Technologies

The Medical Office Building at 70 Kenyon Avenue on South County Hospital’s campus has been undergoing construction and renovations to accommodate enhanced orthopedic, vascular, cardiology, and other medical services offered at South County Health.

On August 9, The Vascular Experts, previously located at Suite 216 in the Medical Office Building also relocated to the 14 Woodruff Avenue location while expansion of vascular services is built out at 70 Kenyon Avenue. Once the construction is complete and new technologies are installed and tested, The Vascular Experts will move back into the Medical Office Building with advanced technologies and capabilities to better serve vascular patients.
