South County Health recently wrapped up its 2025 Stroke Education events, providing essential information to over 80 community members. These sessions focused on recognizing stroke symptoms using the BEFAST acronym—Balance, Eyes, Face, Arm, Speech, Time—and emphasized the importance of rapid response.

Patient Voices

At the events, attendees shared personal experiences highlighting the care provided at South County Health. One participant recalled, “I was seen at SCH ED, and they whisked me to a CT scan to see if I was having a stroke. They moved fast.”

A Special Thank You

A heartfelt thanks goes to Joy Fellowship, Autumn Carvalho, Chris Findeisen, and Pastor Mark Benson of the Joy Fellowship Food Pantry and Family Center for hosting the events.
