For a fifth year, South County Health has been named among Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America.
Healthiest Employers® is an awards program that recognizes people-first organizations that take a proactive approach to employee health and drive innovation throughout their organization.
Each year, Healthiest Employers® names the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America among regional applicants of all sizes, industries, and regions. Those among the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America understand the value of their people and the importance of employee wellbeing.
“When you’ve earned a reputation for providing exceptional patient care, it’s important to pay attention to the health and wellbeing of those who provide that care,” said Aaron Robinson, President and CEO. “Each of our employees, regardless of their position or roles, is an important part of why South County Health has maintained its stature as the best in Hospital Quality and Patient Experience.”
The Healthiest 100 rating system measures organizations based on their culture and leadership commitment; foundational components; strategic planning; communications and marketing; programming and interventions; and reporting and analytics.
South County Health’s employee wellness opportunities include health coaching to staff and medically enrolled spouses or domestic partners, focusing on physical fitness, financial knowledge, and emotional wellbeing. Participants are eligible to earn ‘Well Beyond’ incentive points for participating.
“Besides being the best place to get high quality medical care, South County Health is also a great place to work. This recognition is a testament to that,” Robinson said.
