Thinking about pregnancy or already expecting? Join us for Meet the Doulas at SCH—an opportunity to connect with local doulas, ask questions, and tour our Birthing Center so you can feel confident and supported on your journey.
This 2-hour prenatal breastfeeding class is taught by a Women and Newborn Care Unit lactation consultant. Learn the art and science of providing the perfect nutrition before baby's arrival. Emphasis is on strategies to promote successful breastfeeding. Topics include: what you can expect at the hospital, how to avoid common breastfeeding issues, dispelling breastfeeding myths, and tips on ensuring an adequate milk supply. Partners or a single support person are encouraged to attend.
