New administrators welcomed to South County Health

Four experienced administrators were recently selected to South County Health's Leadership Team. Each brings unique talents that will advance the goals of their specific departments and our system as a whole.

Ansje Gershkoff RN, BS, CMC - South County Home Health
Ansje Gershkoff RN, BS, CMC, has been named Director of South County Home Health.

Ansje joined South County Health in 1992, serving most recently as a Nurse Care Manager at our Westerly and Wakefield Primary Care location with leadership experience in implementing quality and patient safety metrics, along with growth strategies.

Previously, she served as a Charge Nurse at South County Hospital and worked in various departments including pre- and post-operative nursing care, Intensive Care, Telemetry, Interventional Radiology, PACU, and Cardiac Cath Lab. Ansje has past experience working for a number of New England-based home care agencies including ours.

Ansje is certified in Care Management through the National Academy of Certified Nurse Care Managers. She is also a Rhode Island certified diabetes and cardiovascular outpatient educator (CDOE/CDVOE).

She is completing her MBA program for Health Care Administration at Southern New Hampshire University. Ansje has served on numerous committees and councils focused on quality, transition of care, and collaboration.

Thomas Hodovanec - Facility Services
Thomas Hodovanec has joined South County Health, serving in the role of Director of Facility Services.

Tom has 26 years of facility services experience in engineering, safety and quality. He brings a high degree of passion and skills to help deliver facility services to support our care team and ultimately provide a facility that enhances the overall patient experience. Prior to joining South County Health, Tom was the Director of Engineering at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA.

In this capacity, Tom will direct the facilities management function to assure efficient planning, operation, and preservation of all properties and equipment that make up the South County Health system, on the hospital campus and at offsite facilities.

Deborah R. Randall - Risk Management
Deborah R. Randall, RN, BSN, CPHRM, has been hired as Director of Risk Management to oversee the organization’s operational security and compliance.

Deborah, who most recently held a similar role with Lifespan, was previously employed by South County Health as its Risk Manager, Privacy Officer and Self-Insured Trust Manager. She also held the role of Utilization Review Coordinator. Prior to that, she worked at South County Hospital as a Staff and Charge Nurse.

Deborah’s 23 years of experience in risk management and loss prevention will play important roles for South County Health as she will be responsible for the professional management of a comprehensive health and safety/risk management program.

In her role, Deborah will facilitate improvements to the patient experience, including the quality of care and positive outcomes.

Andi Srabian-Winsor – Practice Manager, Center for Women’s Health
Andi Srabian-Winsor has been hired as the Practice Manager for the Center for Women’s Health. In this role, she will oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice.

Prior to joining the South County Health staff, Andi was employed by Coastal Medical where she was a Multi-Site Practice Administrator for adult, pediatrics and family medicine.

Andi’s experience in healthcare administration and process improvement, as well as her skills in planning and management will contribute to the growth and success of the practices and services within the Center for Women’s Health.
