We believe the health of our community begins with education. Our goal is to provide you with accessible healthcare information, whether it is through the variety of programs and lectures we offer or this website.

The things we can all do to enjoy optimal health are relatively simple, and can be covered in a short list:

  1. Lead a healthy lifestyle - eat a diet that's low in saturated fats and rich in whole grains, fruits and vegetables; get regular exercise; and don't smoke;
  2. Visit a primary care physician every year to keep tabs on your health and to establish a 'health history';
  3. Take advantage of the many health screenings that can spot disease in its earliest most treatable stages.
